Heroes and Heritage Exhibit Opening Reception on June 11

“Heroes and Heritage,” featuring artwork celebrating people of various cultures and generations, opens on June 11 and runs through August 22 at the Cargill Hall Gallery in Hennepin County Library –Minneapolis Central, 300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis. The show recognizes unsung heroes who serve our communities in extraordinary ways.

Meet the artists who created works for the exhibit at an opening reception on June 11. Their art depicts various ways that neighbors reach out to help one another, asking for no recognition or notoriety in return.

Cargill Hall Gallery hours are the same as the library’s:

  • Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon-5 p.m.

Both the exhibit and event are free. “Heroes and Heritage” is presented in collaboration with Great Commission Artists, Eden Prairie.
