FLOW NORTHSIDE ARTS CRAWL
FLOW starts Thursday, July 23rd with a block party and on Plymouth Ave near Penn. Friday, July 24th, will be an evening of preview events, gallery receptions and public performances. The main event is Saturday, July 25th, an exciting day of indoor and outdoor activities along West Broadway from the Mississippi River to Penn Ave and on N. 2nd from 16th to 24th Streets. FLOW expects to draw a crowd of 10,000 community members, art enthusiasts, neighbors and families for its 10th anniversary weekend.
FLOW Northside Arts Crawl is both a community celebration and premier art event in North Minneapolis. FLOW is a non-juried, self-guided tour of studios, galleries, theaters, commercial and vacant spaces over a mile and half of the West Broadway corridor. From b-boys to ballet, graffiti to graphite, rap to rhapsody, fine artist to artisan, practicing to professional, FLOW showcases the great art being made every day on the Northside.
Cancelled: 7pm Saturday, July 25 Capri Big Band performance (due to a scheduling conflict).
Added: Northside artists’ work will be on display at the Capri from 12 noon to 5 pm on Saturday, July 25 during the FLOW Northside Arts Crawl.
