Help keep our waters clean with a Stewardship Fund grant from the MWMO.

Does your community need a raingarden? Recycled rain to water trees and gardens? How about a community cleanup event, or a water-themed art project?

If you have an idea to help promote clean water and habitat in your community, you may be eligible for funding through our Stewardship Fund grant program. These grants support a variety of efforts to help manage stormwater runoff, control pollution and keep our waters clean for future generations.

“Everyone has a role to play in protecting clean water,” said MWMO Executive Director Doug Snyder. “Our Stewardship Fund grants are a way for us to support the community in finding creative ways to improve water quality and habitat.”

Three types of Stewardship Fund grants are available:Mini-Grants (up to $3,000), Planning Grants (up to $10,000) and Action Grants (up to $50,000). Each grant funds different types of projects and has unique requirements. Full details, including eligibility requirements and application deadlines, are available on the MWMO website.
