Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) – South Service Area Master Plan community open houses scheduled

Concept plans for south Minneapolis parks to be revealed at upcoming open houses

The public is invited. Initial designs and concepts will be revealed and we are excited to hear your comments!

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will host several community open houses related to the South Service Area Master Plan (SSAMP), a project to create new park plans for all neighborhood parks south of downtown and east of I-35W. The public will be able to view the initial concepts and provide input prior to the next stage of design. Each open house will focus on a set of nearby parks, though community members will be able to discuss any south side park at any open house. There will be no formal presentations; community members may attend at their preferred time.  Children are also encouraged to participate—activities will be available.
