The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) has scheduled the 8th Community Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting related to the South Service Area Master Plan (SSAMP), a project to create new park plans for all neighborhood parks south of downtown and east of I-35W. It will be held on Monday, Feb. 22, 6-8 pm at McRae Recreation Center, 907 East 47th Street, Minneapolis.
The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss revised plans for each park and outdoor facilities in the service area as a whole. Based on input gathered at five community open houses and other stakeholder meetings, MPRB will present a single new plan for each park. These plans will be made available on the SSAMP project page in advance of the CAC meeting.
